Consultation has concluded
The Township of Algonquin Highlands will be working this year on a construction project to rehabilitate the existing retaining wall at Russell Landing on Kawagama Lake, located at 1518 Russell Landing Road. Work is tentatively planned for September, pending contract and design finalization. Work will focus primarily on the deteriorating wooden retaining wall structure along the parking area. The longevity and required maintenance of the stone retaining wall and adjoining wooden crib wall structure that attaches to the docks will also be assessed. This project is scheduled as part of the Township's Asset Management Plan.
We would like input from Kawagama Lake property owners as we embark on this project. Responses will be compiled and presented to Council for their consideration. The information gathered will assist the Township in determining the appropriate outcomes of the project, which are subject to available budget.
Please note: If you wish to change your response on a checkbox question, you must first uncheck the previously selected box.
The deadline for submissions is June 3.
