The Township of Algonquin Highlands will be working this year (2022) on a construction project to remove and upgrade the retaining wall and docking/mooring area at the Lower Fletcher (Skin) Lake Landing at 3335 Livingstone Lake Rd (Cty Rd 12). This project is scheduled as part of the Townships asset management plan.
The intent of this project will be to remove the existing retaining wall and cantilevered dock system and replace it with an improved gangway to floating dock system.
We would very much like to hear from the residents/property owners on the lake. If you would like to provide your input, please take time to review and answer the survey questions. The deadline for submission is March 11, 2022. Following the deadline, responses will be compiled and presented to Council for their consideration. The information gathered will assist the Township in determining the appropriate outcomes of the project which are subject to available budget.
If you have any questions about this survey or related project, please direct them to Parks, Recreation and Trails Manager Chris Card.
